Lets go Camping!
CAVALIER GOLF CAMP Bowen Sargent, the head men’s golf coach at UVA, is conducting
the Cavalier Golf Camp at UVA’s golf team facilities at Birdwood Golf Course in Charlottesville. Birdwood was named one of the top college golf courses in the country by Golfweek maga- zine. Sargent, a past winner of both ACC Coach of the Year and Virginia Coach of the Year awards, along with his assistant Jay Calvo, provide junior golfers a rare opportunity to get instruction from coaches at a nationally ranked collegiate program. Campers stay on-site at UVA student dorms giving them a keen insight into what college will be like no matter where they choose to go.
ROBINS JR GOLF PROGRAM Independence Golf Club is where you’ll fi nd another fantastic
opportunity for junior golfers with the Robins Junior Golf Camps. The facilities available to the campers are second to none. Many options are available for campers between the ages of 5-17, including boarding at the on-site cottages with a dining hall. Half- day and full-day camps are available. Dates: (age 8-15) Camp #1: June 22 - June 25 Camp #2: July 6- July 9 Camp #3: July 20 - July 23 Camp #4: August 3- August 6 Camp #5: August 17 - August 20
•All Summer Camps includes four days of instruction (Mon. - Turs.) beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 12:00 p.m.
•All camps are conducted under the supervision of Hunting Hawk Golf Professionals at a Student to Instructor ratio of 8:1 or less. Space is limited to 24 juniors per camp. Available to ages 8-15.
•Camp includes lunch daily, prizes and Hunting Hawk logo giſt. •Participants are required to bring their own clubs.

Macon College, runs the camp as Program Director and leads a staff that includes one instructor for every six campers. All of the counselors come from Professional Golf Management college programs, meaning they are training to one day enter the golf industry as a professional or in some other capacity.
HUNTING HAWK GOLF CAMP Hunting Hawk GC in Richmond’s far west end is again offer-
ing their popular junior golf camps throughout the summer. For residents who live in this area of town the Hunting Hawk camp is extremely convenient and accessible. The camp is open to boys and girls between the ages of 8-15. Space is limited to 24 juniors per camp allowing a student to instructor ratio of 8 to 1 or less. Juniors will get a chance to play on the golf course during each camp session.
