Well established in the US market, Fiserv offers a number of different core banking platforms for banks, thrifts, credit unions, investment firms and more.


Since its inception in 1984, Fiserv has grown to become one of the ‘big four’ vendors of the US banking software market. The growth was mainly due to 150+ acquisitions the company has completed over the years. Amongst notable takeovers are: rival Open Solutions with its DNA platform, CheckFree (electronic bill payments), CashEdge (P2P payments) and ACI Worldwide’s Community Financial Services Business.


In the domestic core banking software space Fiserv competes fiercely with Jack Henry & Associates, D+H Corporation and FIS.


Signature (formerly CBS and ICBS) is Fiserv’s higher-end core system. It has a broad user base, domestically and internationally. It has roots back to Citibank, with Fiserv
