By Jon Griffi th: “I’ve lived in Chamonix for six years and am passionate about capturing images of people on extraordinary climbs. It amazes me how little alpine photography has been pushed in the Alps, I fi nd myself becoming


obsessed with shooting the range’s great climbs simply because no one has ever done so before. Whenever I’m in the mountains I always carry a full-frame DSLR – defi nitely a weight penalty but it’s the only way to capture stunning images. Do I prefer climbing or photography? I’m not sure.”
