SE Suffolk survey, 1 body sherd flint gritted ware, 1 rim sherd Thetford ware, 2 flakes and 2 Roman sherds.
A stretch of road or track of probable post-medieval date can be seen as a cropmark on aerial photographs, Waldringfield parish.
ARTEFACT SCATTER Anglo-Saxon A few sherds of Thetford ware and one middle Saxon sherd piece, found in area of 12th-14th century scatter.
TRACKWAY, RECTILINEAR ENCLOSURE
FINDSPOT RING DITCH Undated
Fragments of trackways and enclosures of possible Later Prehistoric or Roman date at Hill Farm, Martlesham. Cropmark of trackways which combine with field boundaries to make possible sub square enclosure, enclosing small ring ditch. Also includes possible prehistoric curvilinear enclosure.

Undated Bronze brooch. Colchester derivative.
A ring ditch of unknown date is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs, Waldringfield parish. A similar ring ditch is visible 210m to the south-east. It is possible that both ring ditches are the remains of round houses of later prehistoric date, and are associated with the trackways visible in the immediate area.
