Post-medieval sea banks and flood defences on the western side of the Deben. A bank is depicted in this position on the 1st edition OS map of 1838 and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey 25" maps of circa 1884 and 1904.


Low square earthwork directly in front of sea bank.c.6m x 6m.


19th century Oyster pits cut into the salt-marsh at the edge of the River Deben, Ramsholt parish.
