A small rectangular ditched enclosure of unknown date is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs to the north of Martlseham village, Martlesham parish.


Scatter of metalwork found metal detecting includes bronze aquamanile, coins, tokens, expandable finger-ring, buckle plate, gilded fitting, decorative fitting, seal matrix, and various post- medieval finds.
