The Japan CDISC Coordinating Committee (J3C) is another active group of great members and volunteers who believe in CDISC and work diligently to promote the CDISC mission and vision in Japan. Recently, J3C webpages have been published on the CDISC website with information available in Japanese to bring information on the latest activities, achievements, meetings and education courses held in Japan throughout the year. CDISC Japan User Group (CJUG) team members have recently participated in the Japanese Society of Computational Statistics (JSCS) 28th symposium that was held on 14-15 November 2014 at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST). The event schedule was full of exciting and lively meetings with an excellent presentation on the "Feasibility Study of CDISC Standards for Biobank-data" by Dr. Iznumi Sato of the National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM). CJUG has also planned its SDTM Christmas party during the period of CDISC Education in Japan.
