Q&A During Session 5


Session 7 “CDISC Standards from the Start” was held in very much the same spirit, albeit with even more speakers than session 5. This session, chaired by Rhonda Facile and Rebecca Kush, focused around how specific companies and organizations were using the CDISC standards from the start of studies. There were seven presentations (Formedix, Shire, SOA Software, UCB, GSK/TransCelerate, Oracle and SGS Life Sciences). An additional five individuals joined the panel, for a total of 12 speaker/panelists. The speakers rose to the challenge of crafting 1- 3 slides to show how their organizations are using the CDISC standards from the start of research studies. The SOA representative spoke about creating case report forms using a metadata repository such as SHARE.
