DIA Japan was a great experience for me on so many levels. The theme of the conference was serendipitously called – The Dawn of Medical Innovation that Transcends Boundaries, and I presented during a session titled – The Dawn of Advanced Regulatory Review & Consultation – with representatives from Japan PMDA, US FDA and ICH. Even though we did not coordinate our slides, we all pointed to the advancement and future of CDISC in Japan and around the world.


CDISC was also at DIA Japan as an exhibitor. It was a bustling conference of nearly 1000 conference attendees. CDISC member companies in Japan and others, who had heard of CDISC, were happy to see us to discuss CDISC and ask questions. Many thanks to representatives from the Japan CDISC Coordinating Committee (J3C) for your gracious assistance while I was in Tokyo and ensuring a successful Japan Interchange last July.
