After completing his school- leaving certificate, carpentry apprenticeship and degree in interior design, Prof. Dipl.- Ing. Martin Stosch first worked as a product developer for companies in the furniture and supplier industry. In to
lecture in industrial
furniture manufacturing on the Wood Technology degree programme at Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences. Since 2003 his research and teaching focus has been on the lightweight construction of furniture.
PETER ZEC FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT OF RED DOT AWARD
Dr. Peter Zec first studied media science, psychology and the science of art. From 1986 to 1988 as head of the 'Image' division, he played a major role in planning the ZKM (Center for Art and Media) in Karlsruhe, Germany. He was
president of both the Federation of German Graphic Designers (BDG) and the Association of German Industrial Designers (VDID) before he became president of the the Red Dot Design Award. Dr. Zec was President of the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (Icsid) from 2005 to 2007.
