What’s making a splash in the market Compiled by: Vicki Evans
MEIR | Shadow
Shadow is a new finish from Meir for its bathroom taps and showers and kitchen faucets. The shade is described as a blend of charcoal grey and rustic blue rather than just being a flat black. The finish is applied using a sustainable PVD coating process that Meir says generates low levels of waste, which is good to keep it on track for its sustainable goals. Meir is distributed exclusively in the UK by Faucets. Tel: 01495 767600

COALBROOK | Bank
The new Bank collection from Coalbrook takes its inspiration from classic bank vaults. The cross-bar handle is said to be solid and robust while being smooth and easy to operate. Bank is made up of a selection of taps, deck- and wall-mounted basin mixers, deck- and wall-mounted bath fillers and shower products. There are four finishes – chrome, gunmetal, brushed brass and brushed nickel – to suit any design. Tel: 01992 708338

It is a complete range, which includes baths, basins, toilets, showers and furniture. CASE STUDY: TRAINING FOR THE FUTURE Hayley Robson, Day True, Wimbledon
Virtual Worlds aftercare and the hands-on introduction to its software was as impressive as 4D Theatre itself.
F
Since the installation of 4D Theatre in Day True’s Wimbledon showroom, Robson has found the Virtual Worlds trainers to be patient and helpful. “Our team love to push the boundaries and were very keen to explore the system and push it to its limits. The training we received was clear and easy, covering all aspects of how to use 4D Theatre. “The best part of learning was being in the training centre, far from the distractions of our showroom
or Hayley Robson, creative director at Day True, the experience of
and allowing focused time to fully experience the software,” says Robson. “It’s amazing watching someone in the 4D world exploring a room and getting fully immersed in the virtual space.”
Robson also believes this is a necessary step in future-proofing the business: “This type of tool is what customers will expect in the future. It makes the selling process faster and the clients fully understand what they are getting, even to the extent of opening every cupboard! This level of detail and clarity really helps to avoid problems down the line, and it vastly improves the client’s experience of buying a kitchen or bathroom.”
