Theater Charm Skokie’s Northlight Theatre comes into the city to stage a new play by Philip Dawkins that depicts a charm school for young LGBTQ people, taught by a transgender African-American woman. My Mañana Comes Set in the kitchen of a fancy New York City restaurant, Elizabeth Irwin’s play follows four busboys from varying backgrounds to explore the American immigrant-worker experience.
