Zhuzhou Tongda Cemented Carbide Works will be showing screw shafts made from solid tungsten carbide. These are designed for use in twin-screw extruders. The company says that they provide a harder wearing and more corrosion resistant alternative to screw shafts made from 38CrMoALA nitride steel, particularly for the processing of glass-fibre-reinforced compounds and corrosive plastics. ❙

These include: Hydrocerol chemical foaming agent master- batches for weight reduction and materials savings; Renol compostable masterbatches for adding colour to biodegradable resins; low-halogen pigments for electrical & electronic plus wire & cable applications; and, fully compliant colorants for use in consumer goods, toys and food-contact products. The company will also highlighting its Exolit OP non-
halogenated, phosphinate-based flame retardants for electrical & electronic applications. Fully compliant with
WEEE and RoHS regulations, the products are offered for use in PBT, PET, PA, TPE and epoxy-based laminates. On the stabilizers front, Clariant will be showing its
