Chinaplas 2012 | show preview
It now appears to have recovered and the country’s plastics processing companies are investing again, according to the VDMA. It says Germany’s exports of plastics and rubber machinery to China were up by 30.5% in 2011 to reach a new record level of €766 million. The previous best year was 2004, when Germany’s equipment makers sales posted Chinese sales of €593 million. Many European and American companies used the
NPE exhibition in Orlando, USA, earlier this month to launch their new products for 2012. Chinaplas will be a first opportunity to see many of these in Asia. Chengdu Zhongfu Polymer Engineering of China will be showing its HPL co-rotating twin-screw extruders. These are high-torque, high-speed machines that provide high-levels of efficiency, according to the company. The extruders feature a gearbox designed for high precision, long service life, stable output, and low energy consumption. ❙

Continent Machinery Industries will be showing its wide range of extrusion equipment including its CM- MTE co-rotating twin-screw compounding extruder, plus its CM-PTE counter-rotating parallel twin-screw design for PVC and WPC processing. The Taiwan-based company will also be showing its CM-PRA/HP high- output extruder for colouring and compounding applica- tions, plus its CM-PRD line for plastics recycling. Continent also supplies a wide range of screw
