NEW HORIZONS FOR THE WATER COOLER


INDUSTRY For Facilities Managers charged with overseeing ‘soft services’, choosing the right water coolers and the best water cooler suppliers for the

The leading annual water cooler event, the British Water Cooler Association Conference and Trade Show, is being held in March and this year takes as its theme ‘New Horizons: Plan to Win’. The free-to- attend Trade Show is a useful one stop shop for FMs.


The conference keynote speaker this year will be the former Director of Coaching for British Athletics – Frank Dick OBE. The event takes place on Thursday 23rd March 2017 at The Nottingham Belfry.

LUSSO SECURES £3M


CONTRACT WITH AECOM Lusso, part of CH&Co Group, has added the US-based multinational engineering firm, AECOM, to its client portfolio, continuing its successful period of growth.


Athletics when Sebastian Coe, Steve Cram and Steve Ovett had their hey-day. He has also coached Daley Thompson, Gerhard Berger, Katarina Witt and Boris Becker. In addition to the talk by Frank Dick, the BWCA’s Chairman John Dundon will speak about the sector and review the year. Another highlight of the event is the opportunity to learn about the trends in the market and hear at first hand the predictions from the leading researchers in the field, Zenith Global whose research analyst, Karen Wells, will be revealing exclusively to the conference the latest industry data for the water cooler sector.


Also addressing the conference will be Brendan Hanlon, Head of Fundraising and Communications for Just a Drop – the Association’s chosen charity.

The new three-year contract, worth approximately £3million in turnover, will see Lusso provide quality catering, hospitality and concierge services for 1,200 AECOM employees at its new London head office, in Aldgate Tower.


Lusso will bring its expertise, Food Philosophy (the ethos that focuses on seasonality, sustainability, provenance and partnering with small local suppliers) and quality food and service offer to a variety of areas. This will include concierge, staff café, tea point consumables, and refreshments for an extensive hospitality and events service.
