VACUUMS & SWEEPERS

Safe Bagging Solutions

PCC have come up with a new way to safely and effectively clean and dispose of dirt and debris. They explain the ins and outs of their new Longopac range.

The Preparation Group has introduced a wide range of industrial vacuum units providing a new solution for all levels of dirt and debris removal. The latest additions range from the smallest single motor 101DS, which is only 810mm high, yet still holds 20 litres of dust, up to the biggest three phase TS750PN, that has a capacity of 100 litres and can be used in the dry or wet when dealing with liquid spills, without having to change the fi lter. While automatic reverse pulse cleaning ensures that it is maintenance free.

Two other new models feature the Longopac Safe Bagging System, the compact 202DS LP and the

larger, three motor M450 LP, while The Preparation Group have also introduced a Pre-Separator, that shares the Longopac technology.

The principle of the Longopac system is that instead of a bin, dust and solid material is collected into a continuous anti-static feeding bag of 20m in length, which it is recommended is then twisted and sealed by the operator into manageable 20/30 litre bags for disposal. The advantage is that no particles enter the atmosphere whatsoever, making the system ideal for situations where dust is critical or in dealing with toxic and hazardous substances when using optional Hepa Filters.

The smallest 202DS LP has a total power of 2.3kw and delivers exceptional fi ltration levels for its size. Incorporating a high surface cartridge with high fi lter surface (30.000cm2 the fi ltration effi ciency is just 1 micron.

),

The M450 LP industrial vacuum is designed to collect large volumes of dust and waste. It is fi tted with three motors to regulate dust collection, with the suction controlled by a simple switch, and has a total power of 3.4kw. An external fi lter shaker system releases dust from the fi lters.

Finally, the Longopac pre-separator is designed to be connected via hose, in a line before an industrial vacuum, pre-separating out any large debris into anti-static feeding bags, using the Longopac safe bagging system, before it reaches the vacuum unit. This means that the vacuum’s collection

capacity is vastly increased, whilst also making disposal a simple task.

All of The Preparation Group’s industrial vacuums are of a robust steel construction, built for the daily demands of site conditions, and have a long life expectancy. They are also virtually maintenance free, readily transported with swivel castors for manoeuvrability, easily stored and come with fi lters as standard. A wide range of attachments including ducting, wands and nozzles, and spare Longopac feeding bags are also available.
