VACUUMS & SWEEPERS

prevent the build up and spread of this greasy, sticky dirt.

Finally, Strategem monitors and assesses the results regularly. There may be need to alter the schedule during winter months due to tracking of ice, snow and salt into the facility. Seasonal adjustments are normal, and the important thing is to monitor the carpet regularly to make sure you are achieving the objective and managing your costs and labour time.

Dry Extraction Cleaning means that when you have fi nished the cleaning process the carpet is ready for service immediately, which is a vital factor, particularly in retail, hospitality and healthcare environments.

Strategem is an interconnected system that involves the vacuuming and extraction of dry soil all the way down to the carpet backing. Having completed this process, the areas that have other types of soil can be attacked. By other soil we mean the soil that is bonded to the fi bres of the carpet, generally called sticky soil. These bonds can be loosened by the application of a mixture of water, detergent and solvent and then brushing this mixture around the carpet fi bres.

The dry extraction system does exactly this. The key point is that this liquid mixture is applied in just the right quantity in a cellulosic base that acts just like a sponge. The water detergent and solvent break up the sticky soils, before the sponge traps and absorbs them. Carpets don’t get over wet, shrink or suffer from seam splitting. The soiled sponges are easily removed by the integrated vacuum system.

By developing an individual Strategem plan for each building and by using the Host Dry Extraction System in a planned and strategic way, business owners will quickly see the results refl ected in better looking, harder wearing carpet, substantial savings in relation to replacement costs and working down time saved.

Too many facilities adopt a rule that says “clean when dirty”. Our experience tells us that this could be a recipe for disaster.
