shovelled out of the property before the clean-up could begin. In the end the dog was rescued and the house was cleaned up and when finished it was unrecognisable from the
place we originally entered. “This is the type of

And from word of mouth and a strong reputation alone, Specialised Cleaning Services has won big new contracts including a large local company who are now one of their biggest clients, coming from a referral from another existing client.
And they’re also keen on giving back to their local community.
“Any furniture or white goods we source that can be re-used we store and recycle and upgrade before giving them back to people in the community that need them,” said Sarah.
“We deliver to the individuals and families in poverty or to those who have a new home but no furniture. We take on this service at no cost to the people in need and all of the staff at Specialised Cleaning Services enjoy being able to offer this service to the people in the community who need it the most.”
Sarah herself has won two Enterprise Vision Awards (the EVA’s); the first for Business Woman of the year in 2012, and also received a special commendation for Inspirational Woman of the year in 2013. Specialised Cleaning Services was shortlisted for small business of the year at the 2013 Red Rose Awards.
“We are proud to be known as a family business. Over the years we have worked out how to separate family and business and I can see that our family bond means that we are more successful today than if we were simply work colleagues, or if my sons worked elsewhere.”

In 2013, the company expanded and moved offices to new 3,000 sq ft premises that are more than three times the size of their previous site. They have invested in over £100,000 worth of new specialist cleaning equipment and vans and have expanded the workforce and services they can offer to customers.

“As specialists in our field, we tackle some of the most extreme clean ups imaginable and it's not uncommon for us to visit jobs that other businesses have been unequipped to tackle.
“However through research and preparation, we have put together a comprehensive arsenal of personal protection equipment, which keeps them safe and allows them go where others fear to tread."
