Esther Hooley Adds Power To Fragrance Delivery
Technologies Team Esther Hooley has been appointed as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Fragrance Delivery Technologies Ltd. Based in Dubai, the company has developed and launched an environmentally- friendly air fragrancing technology for away-from-home washrooms, utilising new Oxygen-Power.

HRH The Princess Royal Awards Outstanding
Achiever Bernadette McDermott, a tutor at Environmental Excellence Training and Development Ltd’, has received an award from Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal during a ceremony at St. James’s Palace.
Bernadette was awarded at the City and Guilds of London Institute’s annual Prince Philip Medal ceremony, which celebrates outstanding individuals and tutors. The awards were presented by HRH The Princess Royal, who is President of the Institute.
Bernadette was recognised for her dedication to raising standards and the profile of education and training. She has been involved in delivering cleaning science-related programmes across a range of sectors and has helped her students achieve the highest quality standards and thrive in the cleaning industry. She’s assessed more than 300 students, many of whom went on to win awards and raise standards within the profession.

Her colleagues say that Bernadette’s commitment and drive for excellence is embedded in all programmes she delivers and develops.
Bernadette was selected by the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners, one of 14 Livery Companies who made awards at this event. The Institute, founded by 16 Livery Companies in 1878 still maintains a close relationship with the Livery Companies today.
Speaking about Bernadette’s success, Maureen Marden, Chairman of the Education Committee of the Environmental Cleaners Company, said: “We are delighted to give this award to Bernadette. Her dedication to her chosen trade, moving from
operator to management and all the while with a concentration on improving the learning and skills of herself and her colleagues, is inspirational. The number and the diversity of the students she has tutored and has encouraged to participate and succeed can only bring very positive outcomes in the cleaning industry.”
Chief Executive of the City & Guilds Group, Chris Jones, added: “This award is a sign of passion and dedication to excellence. Bernadette is certainly deserving of it and should be proud of her accomplishment. I wish her all the best as she continues to develop in her career.”
