Q3 Q4 Q5

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST JOB? A chef at a local Brasserie,

the hours weren’t great but I loved every minute.

HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE CLEANING INDUSTRY?

During my design and print career, I worked very closely with Kärcher, I spent so much time in their offices it just seemed logical to everyone if I simply joined them.

WHICH THREE WORDS DESCRIBE YOUR

PERSONALITY? Honest, Reliable, Funny (ish)

IF YOU COULD VISIT ONE PLACE IN THE WORLD,

WHERE WOULD YOU GO AND WHY? Alaska, it just intrigues me.

HOW WOULD YOU IMPROVE THE CLEANING INDUSTRY?

IF AN INTERN WERE TO START TOMORROW,

WHAT’S THE ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE THEM? Work hard, listen and if in doubt, just ask again and again. Kärcher has several interns each year and many come back to work with us when they have finished their studies on a permanent basis. It’s great seeing a young person do well.

Q7 Q8

WHAT DO YOU DO TO UNWIND?

I have recently started cycling but my passion is being in the kitchen.

IF YOU WERE STRANDED ON A DESERT ISLAND AND YOU

COULD ONLY HAVE ONE THING, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY? Obviously my family, what else could you possibly need?

Q9

WHAT, DO YOU THINK, IS THE FUTURE OF THE

CLEANING INDUSTRY? Wow, the million dollar question. Kärcher invests heavily in research and development but it’s not just the products that change but when, how and even why we clean – take the recent surge in popularity of daytime cleaning. On demand, flexible solutions and real-time data management will definitely be in the mix.

Q10

DO YOU THINK WE SEPARATE AND RECYCLE

ENOUGH OF OUR WASTE WHEN WE ARE AWAY FROM HOME? Absolutely not, it almost seems like it is someone else’s responsibility when you’re not at home. Obviously it isn’t, wherever you are it’s down to you.
