As you can no doubt see, we’re celebrating our six year anniversary with a glamorous new makeover. I hope you’ll agree with me when I say that I think our production team has done a fantastic job on the redesign, and I really hope you enjoy our snazzy new look.
We’ve got a great issue for you this month, with plenty of fantastic features to keep you entertained while you’re sunning yourself on holiday (or avoiding the rain if you’re staying in Britain!).
As ‘festival season’ hits full swing, we pay tribute to the wonderful work done by litter picking volunteers who give up their free time to clean up the mountains of rubbish that gather at festival sites up and down the country. I caught up with two such volunteers to ask them about their experiences and what they think organisers can do to persuade campers not to litter with such reckless abandon. You can read this, and some great pieces from Ryans Cleaning, Truvox and Reintec in our Event Clean-ups section.

Elsewhere, it was all change at the top at the British Cleaning Council’s AGM meeting last month, as Simon Hollingbery took over from Doug Cooke as Chairman. We caught up with the new man in charge for an in-depth chat to see what he has planned for his tenure.
Don’t forget to check out our Chemicals & Dosing Equipment and Food Hygiene sections, for more insightful features, while Matt Baines of Premiere Products worries about an impending landmark birthday in an entertaining column this month.
I hope you enjoy the issue – thanks very much and happy reading! EDITOR’S VOICE
