CHEMICALS & DOSING EQUIPMENT

language barriers, counteracting any misunderstanding on the proper use of the chemicals, making them suitable for anyone to use.

“An ongoing issue is the quantity of chemicals needed to complete general cleaning tasks for any given location,” added Mark. “There may be as many as 10 products used, when only three or four products are necessary for these related cleaning tasks. Suresave Optix has designed the formula to reduce the quantity of chemicals required.”

SUPER EIGHT The Suresave Optix colour-coded system features eight different cleaning concentrates for use with the dispensers. These are:

Suresave Optix 1: An all purpose santiser, suitable for food processing and general service.

Suresave Optix 2: Degreaser, which can be used for kitchen floor cleaning and general degreasing.

Suresave Optix 3: A bathroom and washroom disinfectant cleaner.

Suresave Optix 4: A hospital or care home multi-surface disinfectant cleaner.

Suresave Optix 5: A general disinfectant cleaner with a fragrance.

Suresave Optix 6: A glass and stainless steel cleaner, for glass, mirrors, stainless steel and most other metals.

Suresave Optix 7: A Ph neutral floor cleaner, which can be used for all floor types. It can be mopped on or used in scrubber dryers.

Suresave Optix 8: A highly concentrated washing up liquid, suitable for catering kitchens.

With no more than four concentrates needed for any one location, Suresave Optix ensures control and a reduction in the quantity of the chemicals needed. It provides bespoke chemical charts, along with MSDS data, and safe handling tutorials with every dilution system installed.

“Suresave Optix overcomes the challenges in the management of chemicals, providing both quality and control, while at the same time reducing chemical cost.”

POD PEOPLE Alongside the Suresave Optix chemical dispensing system, SANSERV have unveiled the Solid Pod Dishwashing system, a new dosing system for the commercial food industry that aims to deliver a consistently high quality from every wash cycle while using less detergent than other systems.

Mark said: “Attention to detail is paramount for every aspect of the food service industry. One common detail that is often overlooked and can be very problematic is maintaining a consistent wash quality from dishware while using commercial dishwashers. The Suresave Optix dishwashing system achieves the cleaning consistency necessary for food service.”

With one of the lowest detergent to water ratios in the food service industry today, the Solid Pod system uses a ratio of 1g of detergent per litre of water. The majority of other solid and powder detergents have a ratio of between 2-3g per litre, with liquid running at 3-5g per litre.

A low ratio is extremely effective in the removal of tea and coffee stains. Staining tannins from tea and coffee are prevented from attaching themselves onto the detergent residue, which in turn is prevented from being dried back onto the dish.

The self-cleaning technology and descaling additive inhibits the build-up of surfactant on the inside walls of the dishwasher tank. A clean tank provides a clean wash, and a clean wash ensures a clean dish. The formulation also reduces the requirement for destaining and bleaching agents that are commonly used with other dishwashing detergent systems.

The Suresave Optix Solid Pod is manufactured in conjunction with its dosing device, unlike most other dispenser systems, which are produced independently of their detergents. The 5kg Solid Pod delivers approximately 800-1,000 washes, making it one of the most efficient and economical systems in the industry.

Mark added: “The Suresave Optix Dishwashing System excels in all expectations related to the performance of commercial dishwashing, and provides that extra bit of detail necessary for the food service industry.”
