InSPIrIng ChAngE The nPA is pleased to support the upcoming Inspiring Change Conference, organised by the Pharmacy Professional and representative Bodies (PPrB) group. The event is open to all community pharmacists and their teams and will provide a series of presentations and resources on how you can enhance the quality and safety of your practice as well as innovative new ways of delivering services. WEBInAr – EffICIEnCy ToP TIPS The nPA recently hosted a free webinar for nPA members that showed new top tips for freeing up capacity and reviewing pharmacy processes. The webinar followed a pilot programme which helped members to free up time to do more in the pharmacy. The webinar offered information on opportunities to make improvements to the dispensing process. grEAT oPPorTUnITy for InTErnS
Alliance healthcare UK has launched its first ever internship scheme, helping university students start their careers with a rewarding, structured year in industry at one of the UK's leading pharmaceutical wholesaler and distributors.
The three internship placements are targeted at undergraduates who are seeking a placement year, or graduates looking for commercial experience. The placements are available in commercial development, finance and client services, and all start in August 2017.
‘This is a great opportunity for university students,’ said Alliance healthcare UK hr Director, Toby Carpenter, ‘as it enables them to gain valuable work experience, while being
paid at the same time, and for the company, as interns bring fresh ideas to our business we might not previously have considered. benefit of support from a dedicated account management team who can tailor the Scheme to pharmacists’ preferred way of purchasing.
