EXTERNAL ENVELOPE

Senior’s glazing reigns supreme on Sovereign Street

Aluminium doors, windows and curtain walling from designer and manufacturer Senior Architectural Systems have been specified for use on a new commercial development in the heart of Leeds, West Yorkshire. The new Concordia Works scheme on Sovereign Street has been created through the innovative refurbishment of an old five storey yarn and cord warehouse dating back to the early 20th century. Designed by architects Gpad London, the building combines an attractive mix of original features and modern elements to create a high-specification office space. Owing to the scheme’s prominent city centre location, the exterior of the building has been given a stylish and sympathetic makeover with Senior’s dark coloured slim framed SPW 300 aluminium windows and SF52 aluminium curtain walling paying homage to the former warehouse’s industrial heritage. Senior’s thermally efficient SF52 curtain walling has been used to create the feature glazed arches to the entrance level, with the design continuing with the window arches that have been installed to the floors above. Completing the fenestration package are Senior’s SPW 500 doors which are ideally suited.

www.seniorarchitectural.co.uk The Ultimate Sash Window from Roseview

Since its inception in 2013, Roseview’s Ultimate Rose has been one of the industry’s leading uPVC sash window, thanks to its incomparably authentic design and to Roseview’s commitment to continued product development. Their pain-staking attention to detail has made the Ultimate Rose the ultimate timber-effect sash window available anywhere in the world. Every element has been fastidiously developed to create the most authentic uPVC sash window available. Slim, timber-like profiles and mechanical joints expertly replicate a traditional timber window and help to capture its charm and style. Roseview have also created their own midrail profile, replacing the external interlock line that gives away even the most convincing timber-effect windows as uPVC. Traditional hardware and external putty lines are expertly recreated. The result is the most authentic timber-effect sash window ever produced. The Ultimate Rose does all this while offering ‘A’ rated energy efficiency as standard, enhanced security, and exceptional acoustic performance.
