Beginnings

Dear Readers, There is so much hope in our community. Many people are doing

great things to help those in need. The pages of Beyond the Gates are filled with encouraging stories — stories that show you the goodness here and now, available if you seek it. God created an amazing world. He gives us instructions in His Word

to help us live healthy lives. Faith is key to living a joy-filled and peaceful life. Hebrews 11:1-2 tells us, “Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” This August we head into our fiſth year. It has been a beautiful experience to see the light that shines in our community, from Amazing Grace Adoptions to the healing power of nature to stories like Tari Happy’s, whose unstoppable faith sustains and comforts her even in the midst of multiple diagnoses. As we move through the spring and

summer months in our community, let’s commit to helping each other. Let’s join those whose lights shine to guide the least, the last and the lost — showing Love Louder. Thank you to those who give freely of yourselves, your time, talent and treasure. To those who may need a litle encouragement, it

is here. Turn to God as your strong tower. He will guide you.

Persevere; you will reach the finish line triumphantly. With faith comes hope. Just believe!

Remember, always keep your faith; prayers work and miracles really do happen.
