New Walking for Health group has heaps to offer


Residents are being encouraged to put their best foot forward and join a free Walking for Health group, located in the breath-taking grounds of T e National Trust’s historic Croome. T e fi rst walk took place on Monday 27 February, 10.15am at Croome Park. Walks will now continue

T e new group is open to all abilities and aims to help people lead a more active lifestyle, improve fi tness and well-being, and off er the opportunity to meet new people. Walkers will also receive free parking and entry into Croome Park. Walks will be led by Rachel Vann, Physical Activity and Well Being Offi cer at Malvern Hills District Council and Pat Griffi n, a dedicated volunteer at Croome. Rachel and Pat are both trained walk leaders, accredited with Walking for Health. Pat Griffi n, Walk Leader said: “Croome’s parkland is a perfect place for a walk in the fresh air, with great company, beautiful open views, interesting features, and no roads or stiles to worry about.
