Worcester Wolves looking good as business end of the season approaches


superb 99-91 victory against London Lions. T e solitary defeat came against Sheffi eld Sharks, with Wolves edged out 79-77 in the fi nal minute. In the trophy, the Wolves progressed to the semi- fi nal by beating Surrey 86-82. However, in the fi rst of two semi-fi nal legs against the Plymouth Raiders, the Wolves have it all to do aſt er a 96-78 loss.


It’s been a busy four weeks for the Wolves as they battle to climb up the BBL Championship and progress in the BBL Trophy.


In the league, Wolves have won three and lost one to close the gap on the mid-table pack. T e wins came against Surrey Scorchers 103-84, a 91-74 victory against Manchester Giants (payback for the last second loss earlier in the season) and a

Sadly, the Wolves will also be without Andrew Bachman for the next two months, having suff ered a serious calf injury in training. Such was his importance, Trey Ziegler has been brought in to add depth to the Wolves squad and soſt en the blow.


As we approach the business end of the season, there’s still plenty to play for. Go Wolves!
