Team Returns to The Hive The Mad Science


Following on from the success of last year, the Mad Science team are back with their zany activities for this year’s Science Night at T e Hive on T ursday 16 March.T is hands-on event gives families the opportunity to meet the experts and learn about science in a fun and interactive way. Janine Downes, Library Manager at T e Hive, said: “Science is such a captivating topic covering


everything from fossils to rockets; it is easy to understand why our previous Science Night gripped everyone’s attention and was such a success. “T e Mad Science team certainly capture people’s imaginations and create an innovative way of learning. T is event is fantastic at bringing science to life and making it fun.” T e Mad Science team are running three workshops on the evening to reveal the science behind how planes can fl y. T e ‘Up, Up and Away’ workshops are at 4.30pm, 5.15pm and 6pm and cost £3.50 for adults and £3 for children. T is
