The 63-year-old says her goal is to coach Christian women.


Early in her career, she wanted to teach. Burton has a Bachelor’s Degree in special education and elementary education from Harding University in Searcy. Once she married a minister — they will celebrate 42 years of marriage in August — his job moved them around from Cookeville, Tenn., to Indiana, West Virginia and other cities in Arkansas.


For most of her life, Burton has sold Mary Kay products — she is a senior sales director with the company. About a decade ago, she hired a business coach to rejuvenate her and that is where she learned the value of coaching.


Burton is a certified grief coach and Diane Burton uses a Vitamix blender, but any strong blender, like the Ninja, will do for making smoothies.
