While many people use the internet as a gardening source, the best source is your local garden center, said Wooldridge.


“Usually what they have at the nursery is what is good for this area. A lot of times you will go on the internet and want a tree that does not grow good here. Come in and ask questions. We will spend a lot of time answering questions. There are no stupid questions,” Wooldridge said.


You need to learn as much as you can about the plants you’re putting in and consider going all organic, said Culpepper.
