Humane Society of North Central Arkansas, is that she didn’t start sooner.


When the 30-year-old lost her job, she needed to feel productive. So five months ago, Radivojevich started volunteering at the animal shelter. Now,

Radivojevich is a staple and pitches in three days a week, walking dogs and training them.


Dog walking is always in demand and it is excellent exercise; she can clock 5-6 miles a day.


Radivojevich is one of about 50 regular volunteers that help keep the no-kill animal shelter operating. The generosity of people in this community, both in terms of volunteer hours and donations, are the lifeblood of nonprofits in the area.
