Our Princess Selection Night will take place on Saturday 4th March, at St Nicholas’ Church. Young ladies (aged at least seven on the night) wishing to enter, need to be at St Nicholas’ for 7pm to register, have their number allocation and be ready for a prompt 7.30pm start. This year we have changed to a Saturday evening and we are accepting entries from girls living in Corfe Mullen or who go to school in our village. Entry forms are available from our website.
If you are forward planning, here are some important Carnival Dates for your diary:
• Skittles Night, Saturday 20th May, 7.30pm at Corfe Mullen Royal British Legion. Limited numbers on a strict ticket allocation. Includes a basket meal. Tickets available from Richards Estate Agents
• Family Fun Day, Sunday 4th June, 12 noon-4.30pm at the Holme Bush Inn
• Quiz Night, Thursday 8th June, 7pm at The Dorset Soldier
• Carnival Day, Saturday 10th June, Recreation Ground, 1-5pm. Street Procession times TBC.
• 5km & Junior 1 Mile Runs, Tuesday 13th June, 6.30pm, Recreation Ground (parking at Lockyer’s Middle School).

Stall booking forms and Street Procession entry forms are also now available to download from our website. If you are making an online payment for a stall booking, please do make contact with us to confi rm this in advance. All contact information is on the form.
Waitrose Wimborne Branch has confi rmed that Corfe Mullen Carnival will be one of the three good causes they support in March. Therefore, please spread the word to friends and family that, when shopping there, they place their shoppers token in our section of the Community Matters box – that’s the green token you get at the checkout. The more tokens we get allocated, the more money allocated to us to run a successful event for you.
