8-day Voyage (southbound). Price from £854 pp
DAYS 1–3: Longyearbyen Experience the wonder of the Polar Night in Longyearbyen from 14 November – 29 January, when you’ll have the chance to see the Northern Lights all day long. In Spitsbergen, you’ll take part in two seasonal complimentary excursions. Fly to Tromsø.
DAY 4: Embarkation, Tromsø You board your ship in lively Tromsø, where you’ll head south through prime Arctic fi shing territory towards Lofoten.
DAY 5: Vesterålen and Lofoten Islands For many, the f ords and scenery of Vesterålen and Lofoten represent quintessential Norway, with its stunning network of inlets and islands. You will also pass through the narrow Raftsund strait which aff ords incredible views.
DAY 6: Arctic Circle and Seven Sisters mountain range You will cross the Arctic Circle and take part in a special ritual on deck. From here, enjoy the impressive scenery of the Seven Sisters mountains and the fabled Torghatten rock of Viking saga.
DAY 7: Trondheim and Kristiansund In Trondheim, you will have the chance to visit the Gothic style Nidaros Cathedral, or wander around the historic town and the charming Bakklandet district. You’ll then sail towards Kristiansund.
DAY 8: Bergen, disembarkation You’ll pass rugged landscapes, cascading waterfalls and the fertile plains of Nordf ord and the Jostedalsbreen glacier. You disembark in Bergen, the City of the Seven Mountains where you can visit the UNESCO-listed Bryggen wharf and the famous fi sh market.

DAY 1: Embarkation, Bergen Spend some time exploring the picturesque city of Bergen and its UNESCO-listed Bryggen waterfront before boarding your Hurtigruten ship, ready for your Arctic adventure.
DAY 2: Ålesund Relax and enjoy the pristine tranquillity of the coastal landscapes of the West Cape as you sail through the night towards Ålesund, a charming town renowned for its Art Nouveau architecture.
DAY 3: Trondheim Your fi rst call is the Royal City of Trondheim, home to Nidaros Cathedral, Scandinavia’s largest medieval building, and the colourful Bakklandet district.
DAY 4: Arctic Circle and Lofoten Islands Crossing the Arctic Circle is marked with a baptism of ice on deck. From here, you’ll pass the Svartisen glacier and on through the idyllic islets and jagged mountains of Lofoten.
DAY 5: Tromsø, disembarkation During the night, we sail through the spectacular Raftsund strait towards Trollf ord before arriving in Tromsø, the gateway to the Arctic and your fi nal port of call. Here, you’ll transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 6: Tromsø Take some free time to explore the lively Arctic town of Tromsø, taste the local Mack beer and Lyngen seafood, or join one of our wonderful winter excursions. From here, you’ll fl y to Longyearbyen.
DAYS 7–9: Longyearbyen Experience the wonder of the Polar Night in Longyearbyen from 14 November – 29 January, when you’ll have the chance to see the Northern Lights all day long. You’ll spend 3 nights in Longyearbyen, where you’ll take part in two seasonal complimentary excursions.
