Social lounging
After a busy day of activities and excursions, the lounge provides the perfect way to unwind. Sink into a comfy armchair or sofa with a hot drink and soak up magnifi cent views of the fjords.
Off ering a wide range of beverages, this part of the ship serves as the social hub of the ship – a place where you can mingle and share stories with fellow travellers, local passengers and crew. You’ll also fi nd some cosy nooks where you can relax and read a book or plan your next day’s adventures.
After dinner, retire to the lounge bar, where you can sample some artisanal beers and spirits from our large selection. Try a shot of Arctic aquavit, a Lyngen Alp vodka or a Mack beer on tap, and while you’re chatting, you may even see the Northern Lights.

Onboard shopping
You’ll fi nd a shop on all ships selling local products, souvenirs, knitwear, books, postcards, postage stamps and toiletry essentials in case you’ve forgotten something. Look out for some special Hurtigruten gifts as mementos of your trip.
Dining options
We off er à la carte, set menu and buff et dining options on our ships serving a wide range of fresh Nordic cuisine. There’s also a cafeteria serving drinks and snacks. New and refurbished ships boast a bakery and bistro serving local snacks and hot comfort food.
Reading pleasure
Many of our ships have a small library on board, allowing guests the opportunity to read up on the areas they will be visiting, learn about Norwegian history and culture, or just pick up something interesting for a leisurely read.
