New Hope Worcester Children’s Charity is a non- profi t specialists provision working with families who have children with disabilities and complex health care needs. Established in 2010, New Hope was founded by Jean Wilson, a mother of a child with disabilities. Aſt er failing to fi nd a suitable specialist daycare for her daughter, Emily, Jean found there was a crucial need for a new innovative project. With the help of Worcester Community Housing and a number of other organizations,
New Hope was established to provide improved services to families with children with disabilities. New Hope aims to provide a happy, safe, warm and stimulating environment for all children despite their gender, cultural background or ability. T e children are cared for by experienced and qualifi ed staff and are off ered a number of diff erent programs and activities to help them build their skills and confi dence. T e main aim of New Hope is to give children with disabilities the opportunity to progress socially and educationally to their maximum potential, function as independently as possible and access the cultures of society.
