Top Photographic Exhibition Comes to Worcester During British Science Week Worcester has once again been chosen to host T e Royal Photographic Society’s international tour- ing exhibition. T e International Images for Science exhibition will be hosted at T e Hive during British Science Week 2017, and features some of the world’s best science photography with astonishing scientifi c shots with beautiful and striking images of inter- est to everyone. T e Hive was fi rst chosen to host the annual Royal Photographic Society (RPS) International Print Exhibition earlier this year, when thousands of people got the chance to view the collection of distinguished images. T e exhibition is the lon- gest standing exhibition of its kind in the world,


Week (10th March to 19th March 2017) and to celebrate there will be a series of school work- shops running at T e Hive where children have been invited to investigate the theme ‘Hidden in Plain Sight’. T e workshops will bring interactive opportunities for children to investigate forensics, pollen and sound waves, guided by University of Worcester staff and students. In addition to the RPS International exhibition, there will be a series of smaller exhibitions on the Lower Ground Floor at the Hive – ‘Fragments’ by Mike Hallett and ‘A Nostalgia for Beauty’ by David James. T ese thought provoking images showcase the photography of academics at the University who are also fellows of the RPS. More information will be available at www.thehiveworcester.org/events.html
