The group behind Mexico’s Xcaret adventure parks is set to open its first hotel next winter. Luxury all-inclusive Hotel Xcaret in Riviera Maya will be the first property from Experiencias Xcaret and is due to open on December 1, 2017. Elegant Hotels to manage Antigua Hodges Bay Resort


Barbados-based Elegant Hotels Group has signed a deal to manage its first hotel outside the Caribbean island. The 122-room luxury Hodges Bay Resort & Spa by Elegant Hotels

Iberostar plans renovations and new hotel openings


Iberostar has renovated seven properties this year and plans to upgrade all of its portfolio within the next three years. Among the properties being refurbished is Bahia de Palma in Majorca, closed until Easter 2017.
