Utah aims to rev up self-drive sales with Road to Mighty tool
Agents can plan customers’ US road trips through a new online tool created by Visit Utah. The state, which boasts five national parks and 27 scenic byways, is promoting itself as a road trip hotspot to the UK market. The online tool, called The Road
to Mighty, features a drop-down menu to help agents plan a four- wheel-drive adventure based on trip goals and duration of stay. The site promises to help
users “plan the perfect route”, from photography to history and adventure to solitude. Becky Johnson, senior global manager for the Utah Office of Tourism, said: “Utah is world-
renowned for its magnificent national parks, and road-tripping is one of the most efficient and enjoyable ways to make the very best of them. The Road to Mighty road trip builder is designed to remove any stress or
complications from the planning.”
