Icelandic Tourist Board introduces training programme


The Icelandic Tourist Board has created a training programme for agents and operators. The Promote Iceland course is


split into three sections, each with 20 questions. Information about Iceland is emailed to agents when they register, to help them complete the course. After completing the training,


agents receive an Inspired by Iceland Specialist certficate and a badge to use on marketing material. An agent must get 100% in the quiz to become a specialist. The tourist board is running a


marketing campaign called The Iceland Academy, an online tool
