the regular STN EXPO commence, highlighted by a propane-autogas fuel system and infrastructure over- view, sponsored by the Propane Education & Research Council, and a workshop on reasonable suspicion testing for employees and recognizing the signs and symptoms of alcohol and drug abuse. Bret E. Brooks of Gray Ram Tactical, LLC will also

Te workshops continue Sunday following Sperry’s general session, then Monday begins with a keynote by Lt. Joe Kenda of “Homicide Hunter” fame. Te hit series on Investigation Discovery highlights the 387 murders Kenda solved during his 25-year career in law enforcement. and partners Hendrickson and ROUSH CleanTech present Jim “Te Rookie” Morris, as he will speak on “Finding a Mentor and Becoming a Leader.” It’s a topic he knows a thing or two about, as he came to fame as a high school baseball coach turned Major League Baseball pitcher at the age of 35, all because he promised his team that if they won the district championship that he would try out for a professional team. In all, the STN EXPO touts more than 50 workshops and training sessions, including those in the new Green Bus Summit track. Launched last year as a one-day symposium, GBS offers discussions on such topics as the aforementioned propane overview as well as how to calculate fleet greenhouse gas emissions, green tools for fleets, green certification for shops, cost savings of alt-fuel investments, case studies of districts that have transitioned to alternative fuels, and an introduction to renewable diesel. Also new this year is the STN EXPO Ride &
Drive, which offers attendees eight hours over two days—July 26 and July 27—to get behind the wheel of the latest school buses and give them as well as new technology a spin. l
