Department of Energy is advising school districts nationwide to do their homework this summer on state and local idling regulations as they prepare for the coming school year. Tese programs include maximum limits or complete restrictions of school bus idling on school grounds and in certain other areas around communities, along with rules governing other vehicles in school zones.
