The Waverley Academy have teamed up with leading experts in advanced skin care treatments and Laser to offer next generation training to therapists. From one-day workshops to diploma courses, attendees will be provided with the skills and knowledge to help them progress in their career.
Free education will also be available to therapists who need to develop confidence as Derek O’Kelly, Education Manager at Waverley Academy explains: “Treatments such as micro needling, skin peels and Laser therapy have become main stream and clients almost expect that they are on offer. However, some therapists need a stronger belief in their ability to succeed in these areas.
“All that’s required is a shift in mind-set and additional skills and knowledge. And to assist therapists with this, we will be providing free education to help them develop the fundamental confidence and knowledge to progress their careers in these areas.”

New training
venue established The Waverley Academy have recently partnered with The Manicure Company to offer training from their premises located in the Ferrybank area of Waterford. Initial focus will be on offering gel nail and manicure courses.
The Principal at Waverley, Veronica Clinton says: “Students who complete their training can also avail of great discounts on the fabulous range of nail and manicure products on offer from The Manicure Company’s shop on the training days.”
