The Intimate Details

How getting to grips with intimate waxing can prove to be a lucrative addition to your treatment menu.

It’s officially swimsuit season, which can only mean one

thing… your hair removal services are likely to be scorching with popularity over the coming months!

Leg, underarm and facial waxing will no doubt keep your appointment book full during the bustling holiday period, yet this time of year typically sees a spike in client

requests for intimate waxes also. Some of these

individuals will have enjoyed the benefits provided by this type of treatment before, but a large quota will be novices

who’ve finally decided to pluck up the courage and experience intimate waxing for the very first time.

Let’s get intimate! When performed correctly, waxing the bikini and intimate areas not only gives a silky soft smoothness that will last throughout the duration of your client’s getaway but it also reduces the amount of re-growth after each treatment.

“By using Hot Wax it's not only at the time of the waxing treatment when the client will feel the difference (less pain compared to Strip Wax) but they will continue to “feel the difference” once they leave the salon,” notes Waxxxpress’ Lilliane Caron. “Benefits include superior results, minimal redness and pain, little to no irritation/allergic reactions, less sticky residue and [clients] can go about their normal everyday business without feeling uncomfortable and sore.”

“My very general rule of thumb is to use Hot Wax for smaller and sensitive areas of the face and body such as eyebrow,
