What has changed since you joined Sunhotels and what are your future plans? This time last year, we had no UK retail team and an outdated website. Since then, Darren and Sarah have joined us and we launched a new website at
Sunhotels.com during World Travel Market last November. We are now looking forward to engaging more with the trade at events, conferences and roadshows, and building on the fantastic growth we’ve already seen. We have the right content, the right team and lots of experience so I know we have only scratched the surface so far. I am looking forward to this year, and I’m confident 2016 will be a record- breaking 12 months for us!

PAUL HEWER, REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF SALES Hi, I’m Paul and I have been in the travel industry for the last 13 years, starting out in travel recruitment and moving on to GTA, initially in purchasing and then on the retail side. I worked for GTA, Octopus Travel and Travelcube, eventually heading up GTA’s wholesale and Travelcube’s retail business in UK, Ireland, Switzerland and Austria. I started with
Sunhotels in May 2015, and am looking forward to getting out and meeting more of our
partners – probably in one of my trademark old cars! m
