CASE STUDY: A MULTIFUNCTIONAL SPACE TO IMPROVE PUPILS’ LEARNING
YPO was awarded the contract to supply, deliver and instal furniture for Aberdare Community School, Rhondda Cynon Taff, for classrooms, breakout areas, the dining room, library, atrium, and bespoke items. Headteacher Sue Davies, said: ‘The school is light,
open and airy and I’m particularly excited by the breakout area where children learning independently set an example to younger pupils walking past.’ Helen Evans, Corporate Estates at Aberdare, said:
‘Working with YPO was a highly positive experience. Due to a tight timetable, the construction of the school had not finished before furniture had to be installed. YPO was on hand to assist with our project management and helped us select a range of products to meet our needs which were delivered within the timeframe and to a very high standard.’
