I celebrated surviving by setting up my own small business – The Natural Approach. I have brought together a range of high quality products, which I have personally used for myself, my family and my animals. I operate my small business from home. Clients can visit, by appointment. I have a web site too and offer a prompt mail order service.


For the horse or rider in crisis, I run an Independent Equestrian Consultancy service. Seemingly insoluble problems are tackled in a sympathetic, open-minded and practical way. And, increasingly now, I am having dog owners come to me for advice.


I am also available to go and chat to groups or clubs. I am happy to answer any queries by telephone too. And, I care enough about my customers to provide free after-purchase advice when necessary.


And how did I come across Findhorn Flower Essences? Well, I spotted them in a small shop and, being Scottish-based myself, I was intrigued to find that there were flower essences being produced in Scotland from flowers being grown in Scotland. This appealed to me, especially since I try to source my products locally and/or from small, ethical businesses where possible.


I always stress to prospective clients that if they are looking for a ‘miracle cure’ or a ‘quick fix’, then they’ve come to the wrong place…because, at The Natural Approach, the emphasis is on sound advice and quality products. As a herbalist, I sometimes add the essences into a herbal formula to boost the energetic strength of the formula instead of using them separately e.g. if someone is needing some herbs for a stressful time that requires courage, I might use borage as a herb and add Thistle essence to the herb mix and so we have two wonderful plants giving the person strength and courage. I often use the Sweet Dreams essence in my sleep formulas.”

I have had wonderful results with the Psychic Protection Spray over the years, both with myself and others.
