& The Chakras

ELEMENT ESSENCES THE ELEMENTS & THE CHAKRAS
ETHER is the mother and creator of the four elements. Ether is the Quintessence, the 5th (or the 1st element) and can be subdivided into three levels or grades, and in alchemy, these three Ethers are called Salt, Sulphur and Mercury:
Inferior Ether concentrates in the physical body, the nervous system and the gonads. Superior Ether determines the vibratory quality of the blood. In the Adepts, there is chemical blood modification (notion of ‘blue blood’). Divine Ether refers to the vibratory energy which flows through the kundalini and which condenses in the throat (in Daath* the hidden sphere of the tree of life which means ‘hidden knowledge’ in Hebrew).
The four elements build up the forms of the subtle and physical bodies; flesh, muscles, tendons etc. Any disease produces a deformation, distortion of the elements in the body. Each element is specific. They exist on all planes and in all bodies, but their function is distinct at the different levels of manifestation. Any spiritual evolution leads to a transformation or transmutation of the four elements in the body.
FIRE in the mental body produces cognition, memory, and alertness of mind. In the

emotional body, according to its proclivity, produces the will, self-confidence, or anger and passion. In the etheric-physical body, fire works on different levels, and is mainly responsible for the food combustion in the stomach and digestive system.
The elements empower the functioning of the body. If one of them is weak, the devitalised element will produce a dysfunction of the body concerned, in the location which is the sphere of its influence. In the case of disease, after having released the emotional blockage, one must treat each element in the body.
Each element is connected with a specific chakra. One can say that a chakra is equivalent to the axis of receptivity of the elemental energies and of the vital energies, or prana, originated by the Solar Logos and distributed through the subtle and physical bodies.
The Element Essences work on two levels:
◗ they restore the health of the elements in the body (for example, Earth Element works at the level of the first chakra (base or root chakra) and unites with the life force/prana)
◗ they increase the reception of life force in the chakra.
