and their loved ones from the incursion of detrimental energies into their subtle bodies, particularly the emotional (astral) and mental bodies. The complexity of life and humanity’s present state on the evolutionary spiral, means that protection is needed to a greater degree than in our parents’ and grandparents’ day.
Psychic Protection David Steel G
rowing numbers of people are becoming aware of the need to protect themselves
The source of these detrimental energies and forces originates primarily, but not exclusively, from the astral plane which can involve other people’s negative emotions and thought forms directed at us both consciously and unconsciously. Thoughts and emotions, while invisible, are very real elements of subtle matter. Also disincarnate entities, ranging from mischievous elementals to downright malicious spirits, can target human beings who are vulnerable.
The collective thoughts and emotions of humanity also impact our subtle bodies, especially group fear. Post 9/11, the world appears to be a much less safer place and, with the added growing fears for the environment, mainstream consciousness’ obsession with celebrity, trivial culture and the cost of housing, no wonder the Tibetan Teacher describes the astral body of humanity as ‘clogged in mire’.
There are many good visualisation techniques and tools that can be used for our own psychic protection. However, these have to be learned and implemented and one is not always able to create a visualisation, in any given circumstance. For example, in a state of fear or

anxiety, it may be very difficult for a person to calm himself or herself down in order to focus on creating a visualisation. This is where flower essences can really be of benefit in protecting the subtle bodies and chakras.
Psychic Protection has been specifically formulated for this purpose. The constituent flower essences and their qualities are as follows:
Daisy:
helps us feel calm and centred in turbulent situations – solar plexus and alta major chakras.
Thistle:

Rose Alba:

Iona Pennywort: feeling safe and protected, accessing one’s inner light and strength – ajna chakra
