Brain Gang Senior Center


Join us on the second Wednesday morning of each month as we exercise our most important muscle! Participants will engage in a variety of fun and challenging activities led by memory care specialist, Patty Terkovich from Autumn Leaves, Glen Ellyn. You’ll be surprised how fun exercising your brain can be. This program is for everyone! Attendance at Brain Gang meetings will help to earn you credit toward other senior programs, too.

Sound healing supports brain raising frequency and


vibration with crystal and Indian bowls to bring harmony to the etheric, emotional, and physical bodies. The


shifts into higher states of


consciousness, thoughts are slowed down, and the heart opens to healing. Yolanda Lozano has over 20 years of extensive bi-cultural training in the healing arts from master teachers in India, China and Shamanism. Yolanda techniques,


integrates breathing toning and chanting, meditation,


movement, vibrational energy healing, and self-care, while listening to the true self within.

DuPage Memory Café Lisle Recreation Center, Multipurpose Room 3


The DuPage Memory Café is a recurring program held on the second Thursday of the month. It’s a place where individuals with memory loss and their caregivers can get together in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. It is a time and place where people can interact, laugh, cry, find support, share concerns and celebrate without feeling embarrassed or misunderstood. The Neighborhood Memory Café encourages friendship and acceptance. Please call the Senior Center at 630-969-0992 to reserve a space.

Tim Wilsey will be here to get the discussion going and moderate when needed to be sure that everyone has a chance to talk in a safe and respectful environment about what is going on in our world today. Bring your opinions and an open mind to enjoy this lively group! Group meets on the third Wednesday at 10am.
