Barbara Stanwyck, and Alfred Hitchcock never won an Oscar? Some received honorary awards, but they never WON one! Join film aficionado, Steven Frenzel, this afternoon as we kick off Oscar season with a celebration of so many amazing actors and filmmakers who never won an Academy Award!

The Senior Center will continue to open one Sunday each month for lunch and socialization. We’ll have organized games like bags and Wii Bowling and tables for you to play your own games, as well. A hot lunch will be served at 1pm.

Wii Bowling Tournament vs. Heritage Woods Senior Center
Calling all Wii Bowlers! We have challenged Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook to a Wii bowling rematch! Sign up today to help us bring the bowling trophy back to Lisle where it belongs! Prizes will be awarded, and we’ll enjoy a delicious pizza lunch afterwards.

Soup Wars Senior Center
Kick off Super Bowl Sunday with the Lisle Teens With Character. You’ll be treated to samples of soup provided by local restaurants and given a chance to vote on your favorite, play games with the teens and have a chance to win some raffle prizes. All participants will be guaranteed 5 soup tastings, crackers, a drink, a light dessert and 2 raffle tickets.
